Universal Careers offers hybrid paramedic program

Universal Careers offers hybrid paramedic program

EMTs wishing to advance their careers may do so through Universal Careers new hybrid program.

Universal Careers realizes that not all students are alike. Some learn better through online classes and others in traditional live coursework. A combination of the two often provides the best punch for many students.

This is the thinking behind UC's hybrid paramedic program. The course, which begins February 3, 2011, offers EMTs the chance to certify as paramedics through both online and live classes.

“One of the strengths of Universal Careers is its hands-on intensive training,” said Jack Peterson, career development for UC. “But the busy schedules of EMS professionals make it more difficult to get full hands-on work. A hybrid program makes more sense from a time and a cost point of view for those wishing to advance their careers.”

Universal Careers will bring the same quality to its hybrid program as its EMT program. Qualified, experienced paramedics will teach the classes, and the online program will continue to help EMTs achieve the success that Universal Careers' new students experience.

For more information about the program offered at Universal Careers, or to find out about other UC programs, call (213) 290-4682 or visit the web site at www.universalcareers.org. Applications should be turned in by November 1, 2010.

Universal Careers is a national leader in EMT and paramedic training and preparation. With customer service offices in Los Angeles, Calif., and a training partner in Fredericksburg, Va., UC is a state-of-the-art provider of training for individuals interested in joining the health care field. Upon successful completion of the Universal Careers EMT Basic course, students will receive additional help in obtaining their EMT Certification which makes them eligible to work with paramedics in nearly every state in the U.S.
