Universal Careers offers insight on EMT training

For the more than 50 people in attendance, Universal Careers' November conference provided new insight into the field of Emergency Medical Services.

“Making a career choice- or a career change- is huge,” said Paul Johnson, assistant director of student affairs for Universal Careers. “Making sure you have as much information as possible will help you make the best decision.”

Universal Careers, a premiere organization in EMT/paramedic training, wants to provide prospective students with the knowledge they need before they join one of the most in-demand career fields in the United States.

“Just knowing the percentage of growth expected for EMT/paramedics isn't enough,” said Johnson. “Prospective EMTs need to know what the job demands are, what kinds of advancement there is and what training is available. Universal Careers tries to help people understand if they are a good fit for this fast-paced career field.”

Universal Careers schedules these conference opportunities for individuals interested in becoming a part of the EMS field. Admissions representatives and instructors from the school answer questions and talk about the field as well as Universal Careers' many program opportunities.
