Universal Careers helps graduates find their place

The purpose of education is learning, but getting a job out of it is also important.

Universal Careers emt, a leader in EMT/paramedic training, is well aware of the needs of its students. That is why graduates are given assistance to make sure their success continues in the working world.

Students at Universal Careers receive up to date training at the school's partner facility in Fredericksburg, Va. They work with experienced EMT/paramedic instructors who work in the field, giving them a point of reference to help students learn practically. The students train on real medical equipment and go to actual emergency rooms and hospitals rather than staying in classrooms for the training.

When students complete the training, they certify as EMTs, able to work in all 50 states. While many schools consider this the end of their partnership, Universal Careers goes even further.

The school offers help with resume writing and employs placement professionals to help graduates find work in the Emergency Medical Service field. Universal Careers is able to draw on its database of clients and past graduates to help new graduates gain employment in either public or private sector jobs.

“I went through the program and kind of knew where I would like to work. I talked with the placement people and they worked to get me into a private company on the West coast. I get to work with other UC grads,” said Lauren Thomas, a UC graduate and EMT. “I know friends who went through school and they didn't get near the attention I did.”

Past Universal Careers clients continue to work with the school, contacting UC directly for graduates.

Since its inception in 2005, Universal Careers has become one of the premiere organizations for EMT/paramedic training.

For more information about the programs offered at Universal Careers, call an admissions representative at (213) 290-4682 or visit the web site at www.universalcareers.org.

Universal Careers is a national leader in EMT and paramedic training and preparation. With customer service offices in Los Angeles, Calif., and a training partner in Fredericksburg, Va., UC is a state-of-the-art provider of training for individuals interested in joining the health care field. Upon successful completion of the Universal Careers EMT Basic course, students will receive additional help in obtaining their EMT Certification which makes them eligible to work with paramedics in nearly every state in the U.S.
